NXTsports PRESENTS SCHEDULE FOR PHILLY SHOWCASE CHARITY SHOWDOWN AT PPL PARK
Nation’s Preeminent Fall Showcase Event Will Open With Philly Charity Showdown – All Proceeds to Benefit HelpHOPELive in honor of Logan Schweiter
The 2012 Philly Showcase weekend will begin with the Philly Charity Showdown on November 16 at PPL Park in Chester, PA. The Philly Charity Showdown will feature a great lineup of elite high school and club teams in action at an amazing venue. The Friday evening Philly Charity Showdown has become a Philly Showcase weekend tradition, and this year NXTsports will again raise money to benefit HelpHOPELive in honor of Logan Schweiter.
Last year coaches from 150 NCAA lacrosse programs attended the Philly Showcase, and over 80 arrived in time to attend the 2011 Friday evening Charity Showdown. The doors at PPL Park open at 3pm, and the game schedule for the evening is:

Tickets for the Event (All Ticket Proceeds to Benefit HelpHOPELive)
The Philly Charity Showdown at PPL Park is open to the public. General admission tickets are $20 for adults, and all kids 12 and under are welcome to attend for free. NXTsports will also host a special VIP reception in the PPL Park Stadium Club featuring food, drinks and a silent auction with the proceeds going to HelpHOPELive. All guests at the VIP reception will have a full view of the action on the field from either within the Stadium Club or from the adjoining outdoor deck overlooking the field. Additional Ways to Assist Logan Schweiter and the Schweiter Family
For the second consecutive year the Philly Charity Showdown will raise money for HelpHOPELive in honor of Logan Schweiter. Logan, a student at St. Katherine’s of Siena School in Wayne and an enthusiastic rising lacrosse player in the Conestoga Youth Lacrosse (CYLAX) program, nearly drowned when trapped before being rescued from floodwaters near his Wayne, PA home in July 2011. Logan is fighting to recover from severe brain damage suffered as a result of the tragic incident. HelpHOPELive has been instrumental in supporting Logan and the Schweiter family, as well other families who have suffered catastrophic injury.
